FAQ's

1. How do I find out the value of my computer?

Fill in either the Apple or PC laptop form as completely as possible, and you will receive a quotation very soon after.


2. Do I have to pay for postage?

No. We will either arrange a courier collection which will be between 8.30am and 5.30 pm weekdays, or we’ll arrange a parcel drop off at any Post Office. Alternatively if you would like to bring it in to the store for a speedy service.


3. How long does it take to receive payment?

The assessment completes usually within 1 working day of us receiving the computer or device, at the end of which a payment confirmation email will be sent out asking for payment details. Once we receive that then payment is initiated during bank working hours. Delays can be caused if the item is not as described or a fault is found.


4. How do I get paid?

We arrange a bank transfer. Alternatively visitors to our store can get a cash payment arranged.


5. Do I need to delete all my data?

No, we carry out government level security wipe on all computer hard drives.


6. What if I have received a better quote from another company?

If you have received a better quote we would do our best to beat it, just contact us with the competitor’s details and their quote.


7. How do I package my laptop?

We ask that your item is safely packed in a box or wrapped up tightly to ensure no damage in transit. Use our guide for help
